Message from the Mayor

"This week, I had the opportunity to visit the Stamford Veterans Resource Center and connect with the incredible volunteers who are supporting our local veteran community. Open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Center offers a range of services including workshops, benefit assistance, health screenings, and opportunities for connection. Since opening in 2023, it has served more than 300 veterans and now provides on-site mental health counseling through the Westchester County Vet Center."

- Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons regarding the Veterans Resource Center

“This is such an exciting resource for our city. The purpose of this center is to give back to the brave men and women who have given so much to our country,” said Mayor Caroline Simmons, noting that the center has been “long overdue.”
