Emergency Communications


Emergency Communications and Emergency Preparedness are a function of the City of Stamford's Department of Public Safety, Health and Welfare.

Emergency Communications receives routine and emergency phone calls for police, fire and ambulance.  This department is also responsible for dispatch.

The City of Stamford maintains all Emergency Preparedness information and resources at BePreparedStamford.org.  You can also register for Stamford Alert to receive emergency notifications via phone or email.

Citizens are urged to register their contact information at CT Alert.
