The new values have been updated and are available online at  You have an opportunity to discuss your new value with a representative of Municipal Valuation. If you wish to schedule an appointment please visit their website at or call (203) 292-5500 or (855) 686-4825, no walk-ins will be accepted.

Informal hearings will be held in the first 3 weeks of January, and all appointments must be scheduled no later than January 5, 2018. These meetings will be held on the 6th floor of the Stamford Government Center located at 888 Washington Boulevard, Stamford, CT.

Be prepared to leave at the meeting any documentation to support what you believe may affect the valuation of your property.

If you attend an informal hearing, a letter will be mailed to indicate whether a change in value occurred.  This letter will be mailed prior to the official signing of the Grand List.  If you believe your assessment is still not accurate, you may appeal to the Board of Assessment Appeals. Prior consideration by the Board of Assessment Appeals may not carry over to the new valuation.
