Ice Skating Lessons

Endorsed by U.S. Figure Skating & USA Hockey

General Procedures

Instruction & Practice

Lessons are 25 minutes, with an optional 25-minute practice time before or after the lesson. Additional public skating is available Saturdays, Sundays, and during School Vacations.

Safety & Supervision

Children must not be left at the rink without a guardian. Parents must watch from the lobby or bleachers and are not permitted on the ice at any time.

Certified Coaching

All skating instructors are certified by Learn to Skate USA. You may also see volunteer assistants who are learning to teach and aiding our instructors.

Required Equipment

Gloves or mittens are mandatory. Helmets are strongly recommended for all beginners.
