CT United Specialty Lessons

What are Bridge Classes?

Designed for skaters Basic 4 and above, these classes serve as a lower-cost transition from basic skills into competitive figure skating, synchronized skating, and private coaching.

Intro to Synchro

Basic 4 & Up

Exhibition class introducing skaters to the building blocks of synchronized skating, teaching fundamental skills needed for competitive progression. Taught by the head coach of the Southern CT Synchronized Skating Program.

Requirements: Must sign up for 3 cycles.

Moves in the Field

Pre-Freestyle+

A technical discipline designed to improve stroking, turns, and edge work. Prepares skaters wishing to test in front of US Figure Skating judges.

Notes: Pre-Preliminary & Preliminary Moves Only. Private coaching recommended for test preparation after several cycles.

Skills Class

PreJuv & Up

For higher-level skaters focusing on intensive edge work, turns, and advanced balance mechanics necessary for continuing skating progression.

Prerequisite: Must have passed Preliminary Moves or higher.
