The Behavioral Health Unit operates under the co-responder model, pairing specially trained Detectives with licensed clinicians to address behavioral health and social service needs within the community. The unit responds to calls involving mental health crises, substance use, homelessness, hoarding, and other related concerns, while connecting individuals and families with appropriate resources and support services.
