9-1-1 Emergency Communications are a function of the City of Stamford's Department of Public Safety, Health and Welfare.

Emergency Communications receives routine and emergency phone calls for police, fire and ambulance.  This department is also responsible for dispatch.

When to Call 9-1-1

Medical Emergencies
Crime
Fire and hazardous situations
Motor vehicle accidents
For a lockout
