West Main Street Corridor Improvements Project

The City of Stamford invites the public to an open house for the West Main Street Corridor Design Project. Review questionnaire results and share your feedback on preliminary concepts designed to improve safety, accessibility, and mobility along West Main Street for everyone—whether you walk, bike, take transit, or drive.

Meeting Format:

The City of Stamford is redesigning the West Main Street Corridor to improve safety, accessibility, and mobility for everyone — whether you walk, bike, take transit, or drive. Anticipated improvements may include:

  • Roadway and intersection upgrades, including traffic signal improvements
  • Sidewalk improvements
  • Highly visible crosswalks with shorter crossing distances
  • Separated and/or shared bike lanes
  • Enhanced transit stops

How to participate:

Attend the open house to speak with the project team and participate in activities.
