What is Silver Source?

The Silver Source Ride to Wellness program is a free transportation service available to all Stamford residents aged 60 and older who need a ride to their next medical appointment. Eligible participants can receive free transportation to and from their appointments as long as the trip is within Stamford city limits.

A friend or caregiver must accompany the ride recipient.

When can I get a ride?

SilverSource can assist with transportation to medical appointments Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 2:30pm, with exceptions for holidays. Reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

What is the price?

SilverSource Ride to Wellness is completely free, no exceptions.
