Announcements

Leaf Pick Up will begin November 2025

Note: Schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change. Please ensure leaves are raked to the curb (not into the street).

We only collect loose leaves. Yard waste or bagged debris will not be picked up.

Tips and Tricks for Composting and Mulching

Leaf Pickup

We'll see you in November 2025 :)

Please make sure that your loose leaves are not on the road or blocking the sidewalk, as this may result in removal costs and fines. If residents choose to bag their leaves, they may be placed behind the curb.

As in previous years, please do not put brush, dirt or debris in leaf piles or bags. If your piles of leaves or bags are not in compliance, they will not be picked up by the City.

If you see leaves that are not in compliance with city ordinance, you can report it on Fixit Stamford.
