Cedar Heights Road Bridge Replacement

The bridge has been completed with the remainder of stone facing work, installation of bronze plaque, interpretative and other bridge signage, drainage and guiderail (the remaining sections of guiderail to be installed after utility relocation is completed). Now Utility Companies are getting ready to start relocating their utility from temporary utility poles onto permanently located utility poles. This work will start after a survey has been conducted. There are numerous telecommunication companies which have their cables on the poles in addition to the electric cables by Eversource. The duration of utility relocation will take about 6 to 8 months. There will be a one-lane closure during the work as needed due to the heavy equipment used by utility construction crew.
