Report a Blighted Property
Brief Description
Blighted properties can harm neighborhood safety, health, and appearance. The Anti-Blight Officers work with City departments and property owners to enforce Stamford's Anti-Blight Ordinance (Chapter 146, Article III) and restore affected properties.
What Counts as a Blighted Property?
  • Unmaintained yards/lots with debris, rubbish, or overgrowth
  • Abandoned or deteriorating structures
  • Unsafe or broken fencing
  • Graffiti not removed in a timely manner
  • Obstructed or unsafe sidewalks
  • Neglected planting strips or visible damage
How to Report a Blighted Property
