City staff and our consultants at Fuss & O’Neill have been working hard on the Stamford Coastal Flood Resilience Plan for 2 years.  Please join us for a virtual public meeting to present suggested concepts to mitigate current and future flood conditions:

Wednesday, June 24, 2026 - 6 p.m.

Please register here:  https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/e6194dc2-05d0-4651-801c-b39e0659b319@7b9ae456-aee9-493f-bc5f-bc65fc2d9a3e

If you are interested but cannot make it, the meeting will be recorded and posted to the project website:  Stamford Coastal Flood Resilience Plan  and the PowerPoint presentation will be posted as well.

To review, the goals of the Stamford Coastal Resilience Plan are to:

  • Establish an updated understanding of current and future coastal flood risk along Stamford’s waterfront and coastal neighborhoods
  • Develop a path to resilience that includes site-specific recommendations
  • Prioritize nature-based and hybrid solutions and other strategies to reduce the risk of coastal flood and provide benefits to local ecology and quality of life
