Winter Snow Emergency Updates - February 21, 2026

A Blizzard Warning and Coastal Flood Watch has been issued for Stamford and we anticipated that this storm will bring heavy snow, strong winds, and moderate coastal flooding. Snowfall totals are expected to range between 15–24 inches, with potential wind gusts up to 55-60 mph.
Residents are urged to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel.
In the event of an emergency and downed wires, call 911.

City garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day.
