Read below to learn more about initiatives my administration is working on, resources for Stamford residents, information about upcoming events, and important city and state information.

MAYOR’S UPDATES

  • Veterans Tax Credit Expansion: This week, I was honored to join Stamford veterans and local officials at the Veterans Resource Center to celebrate the new Veterans Property Tax Exemption Ordinance, which expands property tax relief for the men and women who have served our nation and given so much to our community. For more information regarding Veterans’ Exemption Programs, visit here.

  • Wire Mill Bridge: Reconstruction of the Wire Mill Bridge is now complete, and the bridge is open to vehicular traffic! Thank you to our engineering department who worked hard to complete this before the end of the year.

  • Stamford Downtown Toy Drive: With the holiday season right around the corner, I joined Toys for Tots and the City’s Kindness Project to launch this year's Toy Drive at the Stamford Downtown Welcome Center. Located at 61 Atlantic Street, the center is currently accepting new, unwrapped toys from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM through December 19. As a token of appreciation for your generosity, every donor will receive a Stamford Downtown Thank You Card featuring specials at local favorites including Lorca, Bedford Hall & Towne Parlor.
