Stamford Coastal Resilience Plan Walk

A reminder that the Stamford Coastal Resilience Plan Walk will take place today, August 5th from 5 PM to 7 PM. Representatives from the City and Project Team will provide an overview of the Coastal Resilience Plan project before taking a walk through the park. The walk will begin at the Cummings Park Pavilion (5 PM).

The walk will stop at several locations to discuss unique flood conditions (coastal and stormwater flooding), unique flood risk reduction infrastructure (e.g., the Hurricane Barrier), and a range of adaptation strategies (from engineered to nature-based solutions) that can be implemented to reduce flood risks. All are welcome and parking passes will be provided.
