New Zoning Text Changes in Effect

The following Zoning text changes went into effect 4/15/25 & 4/21/25

Please note that the following Zoning text changes went into effect:

Application 225-07 - Single Family Districts, EFFECTIVE 4/21/2025

This text change consolidates the regulations for single family districts in one section. Important changes include:

  • •new requirements for a maximum Floor Area Ratio (FAR)
  • •new requirements for maximum lot coverage (in addition to the existing restrictions for building coverage)
  • changes to some of the special permit uses permitted in single-family districts

Application 225-06 - Use Regulations for certain districts, EFFECTIVE 4/21/2025

This application moves the use regulations for the C-D, R-HD, TCD and V-C districts from Section 5 to Appendix A. In some instances, changes were made where specific uses are permitted.

Application 225-04 - Child Day Care Services, EFFECTIVE 4/21/2025

This text allows child day care services to be used to meet the Publicly Accessible Amenity Space (PAAS) requirements and increases zoning bonuses for these types of facilities.

Application 225-03 - Clean-Up and Use Definitions, EFFECTIVE 4/15/2025

This application cleans up some cross references and adds and updates certain use definitions in Section 4 and adds mailboxes as permitted obstructions, pursuant to the definition in Section 3.
