MAYOR’S UPDATES

  • Lakeside Drive and West Glen Drive Bridges Ribbon Cutting: Today, I was proud to join representatives from the Connecticut Department of Transportation, the City’s Engineering Department, and our contractors to celebrate the official opening of the Lakeside Drive and West Glen Drive Bridges. These new bridges are a great example of what we can achieve through strong partnerships between the state and city to enhance our infrastructure. The West Glen Drive Bridge is now open, and the Lakeside Drive Bridge is scheduled to open to traffic on December 9th.

This initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and beautify our public parks. Thank you, Synchrony, for your leadership and commitment to our community.
