Your City at Work: From the Mayor’s Desk

Read below to learn more about initiatives my administration is working on, resources for Stamford residents, information about upcoming events, and important city and state information.

“I unequivocally condemn the despicable, racist text messages sent nationwide, intended to intimidate individuals and divide communities. The Stamford Police Department is in active communication with the FBI and will continue to monitor this situation closely. In the face of any attempt to incite fear and fuel racism, let me be clear: the City of Stamford is an inclusive and welcoming community that does not—and will not—tolerate hate, racism, antisemitism, or bullying of any kind. We stand firm in our commitment to promoting respect and dignity for all and we will continue working alongside residents, faith leaders, and public safety officials to uphold these values and protect every member of our community”. https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/video/fbi-investigating-racist-texts-sent-to-people-around-the-country-223876165687
