MAYOR’S UPDATES

  • Remembering September 11th: It was an honor to join the annual ceremony remembering the lives lost including Stamford’s own and the thousands from across the country on September 11, 2001. Thank you to Stamford’s Fire Department, Police Department, and EMS for your dedication to keeping our community safe. We will forever hold the memory of those lost in our hearts.

Thank you to the sponsors for making it a success!

  • Connecticut Gun Buyback Program: The Stamford Police Department is holding a gun buyback program on October 5th from 10:00am – 1:00pm at 725 Bedford Street. This initiative aims to reduce the number of unwanted firearms in our community, offering residents a safe and anonymous way to turn in firearms. By participating in this program, we are making Stamford a safer place for all. I encourage everyone to spread the word and take advantage of this important opportunity.
