Greenwich-Stamford Multi-Use Trail Design Study Public Meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department

Greenwich-Stamford Multi-Use Trail Design Study

The Transportation, Traffic & Parking Department invites interested members of the public to an in-person public meeting to discuss the Greenwich-Stamford Multi-Use Trail Design Study. This is a study to design a path for pedestrians and cyclists that connects Binney Park in Greenwich with Boccuzzi Park in Stamford. An exact route for the path has yet to be determined and various options will be presented at the meeting for public feedback.  The study aims to support a future project that will increase access for all to points of interest within the Waterside and Old Greenwich neighborhoods. The study is 80% funded by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) with the Town of Greenwich and City of Stamford funding the difference. No final design has been selected. No construction is planned or funded at this time. Interested members of the community are welcome to attend to learn more about the project and ask questions to the project team. The in person meeting will be at 6:00pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 888 Washington Blvd, Stamford, CT, 06901 in the 4th Floor Cafeteria.

In lieu of attending the meeting, written statements or comments may be submitted by Wednesday, December 3rd to Luke Buttenwieser, 888 Washington Blvd, Stamford CT, 06901.
